“POP ZERO EIGHT” is Lasalle’s annual pop-up event conducted by diploma fashion students. Tasked to produce fashion accessory products, the concept for this year was POP ART. Plastic bags are, by far, one of the most unconsciously consumed object yet unseen by the users. Interlocking the idea of recycling/ upcycling and mass consumerism, the products were produced with recycled plastic bags in a  zero-waste method. The characteristics of being light-weighted, water-proof with high durability lead a longer lifespan for the product.  The captivating kitsch aesthetics and vivid pop-art elements were used to finalize the collection.
